Plain words about who owns what, how sharing works, and how we keep things safe for kids.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
The rest of this page is for your grown-up.
Buildable is made for families. An adult (18 or older) creates the account and is responsible for how it is used, including by the kids on it. Kids play and make things; grown-ups decide what gets shared and handle payments.
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we keep about your children and how you stay in control of it. We never show ads to anyone on Buildable.
Keep your sign-in email secure. If you think someone else got into your account, write to us right away.
Buildable Kids Inc. owns the website, the game engines, the building tools, the art library, and all the code and systems that make them run. Using Buildable does not give you a license to copy or redistribute any of that.
Your ideas are yours. The story your child told, the character they named, the world they described: those belong to your family. Buildable does not claim any rights to the ideas your family brings.
So we can save, show and run your creations, you give us permission to store them, display them, and play them on Buildable. If you share a game, that permission covers showing it to the people you shared it with. It ends when you delete the creation, except for copies others already saved or that we must keep by law.
What your family makes stays in your library. You can save it, play it, share a link to it, or delete it at any time.
When you share a game or add it to the public gallery, it plays on Buildable Kids. We host it and keep it running. Shared games are not available to download or host elsewhere. The share link is the game's home.
This keeps every shared game in a safe, kid-friendly place where we can check it and where other families know what they are opening.
A family can invite you to see one of their children's learning and to make lessons for them. By tapping I agree, you promise to:
The family decides. They can remove your access at any time, and it ends right away. See Teachers you invite in our privacy policy.
Class iPads. You can also add students yourself to use on your school's own iPads. Before you do, you confirm that your school has approved Buildable Kids for your class, the way it approves other learning apps. Add first names only. You can remove a student at any time, and their name and results are deleted from the class.
We can remove or hide any game, story or creation that breaks these rules, is reported as harmful, or is not right for kids. We keep kids safe first and ask questions second. If something of yours was removed by mistake, write to us and we will sort it out quickly.
Not allowed on Buildable:
If an account keeps breaking the rules, we may pause or close it.
Buildable helps turn a child's words and drawings into games, pictures, sounds and stories. What comes out can be surprising, and sometimes it is not quite right. We check what gets made, but please play along with your child, and press Report if anything seems off.
Facts in lessons and books are checked, but they are for learning and fun, not professional advice.
You can stop using Buildable at any time. To delete your account, sign in, open the Grown-ups area and choose Delete account, or write to us and we will do it for you. Your account, your kids' profiles and everything tied to them are removed, and any paid plan is canceled.
We work hard to keep Buildable running and safe, but it is provided "as is." We cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
As far as the law allows, Buildable Kids Inc. is not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses from using Buildable, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
If we change anything that affects your rights, we will update the date above and let families know by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Buildable after that means you agree to the updated terms. If you disagree, you can stop using Buildable and ask us to delete your data.
